Advertising.com CEO Scott Ferber Wins Stevie™ Award For Best Executive

Baltimore, MD - June 14, 2005 - Advertising.com, Inc., a leading provider of results-based interactive marketing services, today announced that the company's chief executive officer, Scott Ferber, has been awarded a Stevie for Best Executive in The 2005 American Business Awards.

Hailed as "the business world's own Oscars" by the New York Post (April 27, 2005), The American Business Awards are the first national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word "crowned," the awards were presented during ceremonies at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The ceremonies were hosted by CNN personality Ali Velshi, videocast live on the Internet, and broadcast nationwide on radio. Donald J. Trump received the first Lifetime Achievement Stevie Award.

As CEO and co-founder of Advertising.com, Scott was recognised for his outstanding leadership in a landmark year for the Baltimore company. After building Advertising.com from an unknown start-up to one of the industry's largest and most successful online advertising providers, Scott managed the company's August 2004 acquisition by America Online - one of the biggest industry acquisitions of the year.

"Post-acquisition reality can often be daunting to the company and its employees. However, Advertising.com has continued to thrive - with employee morale at an all-time high. This continued success is due in large part to the focused and dynamic leadership of Scott Ferber," said Gar Richlin, president and chief operating officer of Advertising.com, and former head of investment banking at Alex.Brown.

Other 2005 Best Executive winners include Mayo A. Shattuck III of Constellation Energy, Joseph Semprevivo of Joseph's Lite Cookies and Tom Kelly of Nextel Communications.

Baltimore's Mayor Martin O'Malley noted: "The city of Baltimore represents a best-in-class workforce. We are proud to have two of our business executives recognised nationally for their leadership. Congratulations to both Advertising.com and Constellation Energy."

More than 100 Stevies were presented in over 40 categories including Best Overall Company, Best Executive, Best Support Staffer, and Best Corporate Web Site. More than 1,200 nominations from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration.

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected Stevie winners from among the Finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in February through April.
