Advertising.com announces the launch of Offerzoo.co.uk - a consumer marketing site which already has 140,000 members

Today leading performance-based marketers, Advertising.com announced the launch of Offerzoo.co.uk, a customer acquisition website.

Offerzoo.co.uk is a marketing community which offers consumers the chance to win prizes and take up offers in exchange for completing simple questionnaires about themselves and their purchasing habits.

The site is being promoted via Advertising.com’s extensive advertising network, comprising web, search, email and affiliate marketing and has already generated over 140,000 double opt-in members for email, postal, telephone and SMS marketing.

Offerzoo operates a double opt-in registration which provides both security and user reassurance as well as adhering to the highest protocols and standards for online marketing. Because it requires response from a delivered email, it generates a significantly more responsive database than the single opt-in methodologies generally used in the UK. It is believed that Offerzoo is the first significant double opt-in database available to marketers in the UK.

The site has a very open, soft, fun feel to it and Advertising.com is carefully controlling the number of mails to members. Consequently, unsubscribe rates have averaged a low 3% per month.

Offerzoo can offer demographic profiling along a range of standard and custom variables. Kate Toon, Offerzoo Product Manager, said "We have a particularly good reach into the 25-45 age bracket" commented Toon "and more than 60% of our members are women, who are often harder to reach online".

Clients such as Freemans, Next and Ultralase have already tested the database and found the responsiveness to be exceptionally good. Kate felt that "despite a plethora of UK freebies and competitions sites, very few offered a genuinely trustworthy, user-friendly and secure experience. Our site aims to both excite our visitors and ensure that the information provided to our clients is of the highest quality."
